Shanta began to set foot in the field of ready-to-wear (RMG) in 1988 and became one of the pioneers of RMG exports by establishing leading industries such as Shanta Garments Ltd, Shanta Industries Ltd, Shanta Washworks Ltd, GDS Chemicals Ltd and Shanta Denims Ltd. As the United States and Important suppliers of some of the most famous clothing brands in Europe have won a good reputation. Shanta is also the main founding member and majority shareholder of STS Group, which is the founder of the world-class Dhaka Apollo Hospital, Dhaka International School (ISD) and Dhaka Delhi Public School.
